The Wellem - The Unbound Collection By Hyatt

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wellem. Overall the rooms were clean, the cleaning and hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The built in closets were great for quick organizing and the kitchen had everything you'd need. The room coffee system was fantastic and was refilled daily :D. Walking distance to the Christmas market, museums, and local restaurants. The only issue we had was with the quick grab pantry being closed, there was no way to get a quick snack if you needed something outside of the kitchen hours, which were limited. They do have restaurants, but there were not all "in" the building and lacked kid friendly foods. I also needed to use the business center that did not exist. The hotel did have a standing desk area with a computer (only), and could print if needed. Not a deal breaker, but helpful to know if you need to work while there. If in the area, I will stay here again based on the location of the hotel and the accommodating staff. This is home away from home and I have an awesome home. The room and space in the apartment is large and well decorated. Kitchen is fully equipped for most people’s needs and the dishwasher and laundry is a great for cleaning and long stays. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for tourists. It is in the mix of things in Alstadt. Will highly recommend to anyone looking at accommodation in Düsseldorf.

Excellent location with well-equipped rooms. One thing they need to improve is the air conditioning system in the rooms. It's not possible to set the temperature below 20°C. At night, it gets really warm in the rooms. We can not sleep at all 3 nights. Staff relaxed and do not care about guest request. We asked prepare an invoice with company data, and invoice was not prepared.

This hotel provides such a wonderful service in all the matters. I had a 2-day business trip with the dog. Planned last minute and was worried of how I would go with the dog everywhere. But we were welcomed everywhere with my dog - from the boardroom/meeting-room to restaurant in the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped, very comfortable. The staff is amazing, we have got some guidance, fast help when we needed it, and just a genuine positive and welcoming attitude 💛 The Italian restaurant in the hotel is wonderful.

Words can't really share the experience and ambience of this Hotel. Rooms were more than spacious filled with extras. A balcony with a garden view. You really did not know you were in center of old town and blocks away from the action. The food both breakfast and dinner were exceptional. The staff were exceptional. Thank you all for my memories and great stay. I will be back!

Front desk and housekeeping absolutely lousy service. Inspite of specifically requesting for housekeeping while we were away- it was not done when we came back after 3-4 hours on ALL the days. This inspite of booking a studio room!!! No one even said sorry about it. Very callous attitude and no care towards guest’s comfort or needs!
